　　一、什么是IB MYP中學項目？

 

　　中學項目是IBO為11歲至16歲的學生設計的。它提供一種學習的體系框架，鼓勵學生成長為具有創造、批判和反思意識的思考者。中學項目強調智力方面的挑戰，鼓勵學生在他們所學習的傳統學科之間，以及課堂學習與真實世界之間建立連系。它培養學生發展交流、多元文化理解和全球參與等方面的技能，對于將要成為全球領導者的年青人來說，這些都是至關重要的品質。The MYP is designed for students aged 11 to 16.It provides a framework of learning that encourages students to become creative,critical and reflective thinkers.The MYP emphasizes intellectual challenge,encouraging students to make connections between their studies in traditional subjects and the real world.It fosters the development of skills for communication,intercultural understanding and global engagement—essential qualities for young people who are becoming global leaders.

 

　　二、什么是個人設計Personal project？

 

　　中學項目的設計課題以學生為中心，并與他們的年齡相適應，通過一個由探究、行動和反思構成的周期，使學生參與實際探索。中學項目的設計課題幫助學生發展國際文憑學習者培養目標中的各項品質，為學生提供重要的機會，展示他們通過中學項目所掌握的學習方法方面的技能，并培養他們成長為獨立自主的終身學習者。MYP projects are student-centered and age-appropriate,and they enable students to engage in practical explorations through a cycle of inquiry,action and reflection.MYP projects help students to develop the attributes of the IB learner profile;provide students with an essential opportunity to demonstrate ATL skills developed through the MYP;and foster the development of independent,lifelong learners.

 

　　三、個人設計對學生成長的重要意義

 

　　個人設計鼓勵學生練習和強化他們掌握的學習方法(ATL)方面的技能，鞏固已前的和具體學科中的學習，并拓展個人的興趣領域。個人設計為學生提供極好的機會，創作真正屬于個人的和具有創造性的作品/成果，展示他們對中學項目學習的鞏固。設計課題為學生提供許多機會，讓他們根據個人的需要進行個性化學習和表達。設計課題的個人性質非常重要，應當圍繞一個能夠激勵和引起學生個人興趣的挑戰展開。每個學生要獨立開展并完成一項個人設計。

 

　　The personal project encourages students to practice and strengthen their approaches to learning(ATL)skills,to consolidate prior and subject-specific learning,and to develop an area of personal interest.The personal project provides an excellent opportunity for students to produce a truly personal and often creative product/outcome and to demonstrate a consolidation of their learning in the MYP.The project offers many opportunities for differentiation of learning and expression according to students’individual needs.The personal nature of the project is important;the project should revolve around a challenge that motivates and interests the individual student.Each student develops a personal project independently.

 

　　參加評審時，學校要向由國際文憑組織委任的獨立的外部評審員提交中學項目每個學科領域的，出自項目最后一年的，已評估過的學生作業樣本(也要提交個人設計樣本)。國際文憑組織通過這一程序，確保學校和教師在對自己的學生進行評估時，采用了國際統一的中學項目評估標準。
